Description

Antique French Rococo Wall Sconces | 19th-Century Girandole Mirror Candelabra Pair with Cherubs (Three Arms Each)

An extraordinary pair of antique French wall sconces, dating from the mid to late 19th century. Crafted in the girandole tradition, these sconces feature three ornate candle arms each, set beneath a richly adorned frame showcasing cherubs, scrolls, and foliage, with an oval faceted mirror at the centre.

Likely cast in bronze or gilded brass, the dark, aged patina adds depth and charm to their Rococo style. Originally made to amplify candlelight, the mirrors reflect a soft glow—just as they would have done in a 19th-century French château.

These are statement pieces perfect for a maximalist interior, vintage salon, romantic hallway or moody boudoir. Full of drama, romance, and historic charm.
