Bring timeless elegance to your space with this stunning antique French mantel clock, dating to around 1850–1870. Crafted in the highly decorative Rococo style, the clock features a beautifully cast gilt-metal case with a detailed pastoral scene of a woman, child, and goat, symbolizing nurturing and peace.
The clock is powered by its original mechanical movement, complete with its winding key and pendulum. It strikes on the hour and half-hour with a lovely bell chime, and is in working order. The white enamel dial has Roman numerals and elegant spade hands.
A true collector’s piece, this clock is both ornate and functional, making it perfect for a fireplace mantel, grand hallway, or antique collection. Despite its age, it is in very good condition with just light signs of wear and age-appropriate patina that enhance its charm.
